Natalia Marcou – Spanish Teacher
Natalia is first and foremost a mom of two girls. She grew up in a house where both of her parents were wonderful teachers and instilled in her the passion for education from an early age. Since she was a kid, she would assist her mom in the music school for children that she ran. Ever since this early experience, music has become an integral part of her life. Later in life, she earned her Bachelors degree in International Affairs in her native Venezuela and later obtained an MBA in Argentina. She has always lived her life around children through her photography, producing TV shows for children, working on youth summer camps and volunteering to work with kids in indigenous communities in Venezuela. In the last two years the desire to create a nurturing educational environment for her girls, where they could also be exposed to Spanish language, led her to devote herself to be a full-time mom. This gave her the freedom to teach her daughters and their friends music, baking, gardening, arts and dance. Now that her daughters are going to school she wants to share these skills with other kids in my community.
